Subject: [PATCH 1/3] Declare strupr() for the Unix build

apiemu.c supplies strupr() on Unix builds, but nothing declares it:
globals.h maps _strupr onto it and strings.h never had the prototype.
GCC 14 rejects the implicit declaration, and it was wrong anyway - an
implicitly declared function returns int, so on x86-64 the returned
pointer was truncated to 32 bits.
